A man goes into a restaurant and is seated

As we embark on a new day, we may sometimes be greeted with puzzling stories or unexpected situations that can throw us off balance.

Instead of seeing a puzzling story as a burden, we can choose to view it as “good medicine” – a chance to expand our perspectives, challenge our assumptions, and gain new insights. When we approach the unexpected with a curious and open mindset, we open ourselves up to the possibility of discovering valuable lessons and discovering new ways of thinking.

A man entered a bustling restaurant and was promptly seated at a table, ready to enjoy his meal.

As he scanned the room, he couldn’t help but notice the stunning beauty of the waitresses serving the other patrons. Each one seemed more alluring than the last.

One waitress, in particular, caught his eye. With her voluptuous figure and legs that seemed to go on forever, she approached his table, her short skirt swishing with each step. “What would you like, sir?” she asked in a professional tone.

Instead of perusing the menu, the man’s eyes remained fixed on the waitress’ figure. Feeling bold, he responded, “A quickie,” a lecherous grin spreading across his face.

Taken aback by the customer’s inappropriate and offensive request, the waitress turned and walked away, her anger and disgust evident in her expression.

After a moment to regain her composure, the waitress returned to the man’s table. “What would you like, sir?” she asked, her tone laced with barely contained fury.

This time her anger takes over, she reaches over and slaps him across the face with a resounding “SMACK!” and storms away.

A man seated at the neighboring table leaned over and whispered, “Um, I think it’s pronounced ‘Quiche.'”
