97 Year Old Midwife Gets One Last Wish Before Going To Heaven

After a lifetime of dedicated service, Elsa, a 97-year-old midwife, had seen it all. From the joyous cries of newborn babes to the heartbreaking struggles of difficult deliveries, she had borne witness to the full spectrum of human reproduction.

Now, Elsa had one final request – a chance to witness a birth unlike any other.

“Hello, Elsa,” he said. “Before you go to heaven, do you have one last wish?”

Elsa didn’t hesitate. “Yes,” she replied. “I would like to spend a short time back on Earth, witnessing a birth where the father experiences the agony of giving birth instead of the mother.”

Intrigued by Elsa’s unique request, St. Peter agreed to grant her wish. He returned her to Earth for a brief period, allowing her to witness a birth unlike any she had seen before.

As Elsa arrived at the woman’s house, she was surprised to find the expectant mother in seemingly no discomfort at all as she delivered the baby. Curious, Elsa went to check on the woman’s husband, only to find him sitting calmly in a chair by an open window, smoking his pipe.

“How are you feeling right now? Are you not in pain?” Elsa asked the husband, puzzled by his serene demeanor.

“Oh no, I feel fantastic,” the husband replied. “However, I believe we need to call an ambulance. Our neighbor John is lying out there on the lawn, screaming his head off!”
